Post Globalisation, Information Technology sector has shown monstrous growth. It has increased employment opportunities exponentially. To catch such opportunities, it is an unwritten rule that the candidates should have a fair knowledge in English. Though it may not be said explicitly, it is the truth and it is the reason why the urban youth grab more opportunities than the rural youth. In many villages, Tamil is the only medium of instruction. As a result, the rural youths find it difficult to complete with urban youth who have a good level of exposure to both languages. ‘DreamDaa’ is Dream Tamilnadu’s project for coaching the rural youth in English communication, so that they are as equipped as the urban youth are.
